This award commemorates the service of Denise Skinner-Hurst, who was an outstanding professional. She contributed to the growth of the GAWP Pretreatment Committee as well as the Pretreatment profession. This award is presented to an individual member of the GAWP whose contributions to the industrial pretreatment profession most deserve recognition.

Criteria (contributions in either or both Criteria i and ii will be considered)

i. Contributions to promoting and/or improving the standards of our industry through (as examples):
a. Developing standards of practice
b. Teaching/Training
c. Publications/books/papers/presentations
d. Professional accomplishments

ii. Contributions to supporting our profession through  (as examples):
a. Leadership in GAWP or other related professional organization (WEF/AWWA/etc.)
b. Leadership in developing conferences/workshops, etc.
c. Membership recruitment

iii. Individual Member of GAWP

iv. Current full time practicing member of the profession.
