<description><![CDATA[GAWP is pleased to offer our first training focused on Industrial, HVPS, and Municipal Facility Inspections for MS4 communities.&nbsp;<br /><br />This training is designed to provide City and County staff, as well as other stormwater professionals, with
the necessary knowledge to conduct technical inspections, distinguish between different inspection types, and understand the municipal stormwater regulatory framework, including the roles of MS4, GAEPD, MNGWPD, and U.S. EPA.<br /><br />It will emphasize
the duties of MS4 inspectors, focusing on inspection preparation, field considerations, documentation, and coordination crucial for effective program management. The training targets inspectors and program staff from Phase I and Phase II MS4 permittees
aiming to deepen their understanding of inspection requirements and enhance program consistency and effectiveness.<br /><br />Lunch will be included. 5 PDHs will be awarded for attendance.&nbsp;<br />

<title>Registration for the Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser is open!</title>

<description><![CDATA[<p style="line-height: normal;"><span face="Lato" style="font-size: 18px;">This year's golf tournament to support the GAWP General Scholarship Fund will be held on <strong>Thursday, September 10, 2026</strong>, at the Cobblestone Golf Course in Acworth, GA. The tournament will begin at 9:30am with shotgun start.</span></p>
<p style="line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: Lato; font-size: 18px;">Registration is now open for the tournament, and companies and individuals have the opportunity to sponsor the tournament as well. Contact Jim Poff (jpoff@gawp.org) for sponsorship information.</span></p>

<title>GA EPD Issues Statewide Drought Response Level 1 Declaration</title>
