Because this year's Annual Conference will be a virtual (rather than in-person) event, the process of registering and participating will be different than it has been in the past. Please scroll down to read important information that will help you understand how to register and participate.

Registration Fees

Basic Annual Conference Registration Fee

 

Includes all general sessions and social hours, but does NOT include technical sessions

 

$75 members/$125 non-members

 

 

 

 

Technical Sessions

 

*Each technical session consists of a two-hour block of presentations and is worth 2 recertification points

$75 per session block

 

 

 

 *A maximum of 12 Water/Wastewater Operator Re-certification points can be awarded for conference attendance.

   

VIDEO “ON” REQUIREMENT FOR RECERTIFICATION POINTS

 

Please be aware that those participants who need recertification points are required to turn their video cameras on (smartphone, tablet, laptop, desktop, webcam, etc.) during technical sessions so that GAWP staff can confirm their participation during the entire training session (the camera must be on AND you must be visible on camera!). Those who fail to do so will not be awarded recertification points.

This is required by the GA Water & Wastewater Treatment Board of Examiners / GA Secretary of State.

Please click here to read registration instructions before registering for the 2020 Virtual Annual Conference.

Unlike past conferences, you will need to select all the general sessions, social hours, and technical sessions you wish to attend BEFORE you register online. So please review the information in the technical program and this document very carefully to make sure you know all the events you’d like to attend before you complete the online registration process. Prior to the conference, we will email you a Zoom link for each session or social hour you have registered for. This Zoom link will enable you to participate in that particular event.

*A maximum of 12 Water/Wastewater Operator Re-certification points can be awarded for conference attendance.

MEMBER DISCOUNT

Individual members of GAWP need to login to obtain the reduced member rate when registering online. If you are employed by a Corporate or Utility member of GAWP, you are not required to sign in to obtain the reduced rate, but must use the promo code that’s been assigned to your employer. If you are both an individual member and employed by a Corporate or Utility member, please do not sign in and use the promo code – you only need to do one of them.

 


 

RATE FOR FULLY RETIRED MEMBERS OF GAWP - $50.00

If you are a Member and fully retired please follow the steps below for registering.

  • Register online using the green Register button above.
  • Select all the sessions you plan to attend.
  • On the Billing screen select the "Bill me" option (do not pay online with a credit card) and complete the bill me information.
  • Select "Proceed To Confirmation".

Next send an email to Member Services (memberservices@gawp.org) letting us know that you are fully retired, have registered for the conference and need your invoice adjusted to reflect the discounted rate. We will send you an email with the adjusted invoice and link to pay by credit card. You can also use the adjusted invoice and pay by check if you prefer.

CANCELLATION POLICY/SUBSTITUTIONS

All cancellations must be received in writing via fax or by email sent to GAWP. Phone cancellations are NOT accepted. After June 13, 2020, registrants are no longer eligible for refunds; however, substitutions are welcome. No refunds for those who register and fail to attend.

Only employees of GAWP Corporate & Utility Members will be permitted to request invoicing.
