The Georgia Association of Water Professionals has teamed up with the local Georgia concrete pipe and box culvert producers to bring expert best practices for design, installation and inspection of stormwater drain, bridge structures, and culvert crossings.  We are providing this online training for Engineers, Inspectors, Contractors, Installers, and Reviewers.  The case studies and specifications to be referenced are state specific to Georgia, ensuring the courses provide you with an individualized learning experience.

Course Descriptions

Concrete Pipe Fundamentals and Design

Every Engineer engaged in bridge, roadway, stormwater, and drainage projects will gain valuable design concepts critical to the development of plans and specifications.  This class will cover aspects of GDOT, AASHTO, and ASTM specifications and drawings.

Concrete Pipe Installation

This class promotes a solid understanding of installations, specifications, design requirements, and material differences for pipe systems.  Concepts will empower you with the ability to properly design, install, and accept ownership of various drainage systems.  Proper pipe installation is key to providing a resilient infrastructure.

Post Installation Inspection - PII

Culvert inspection training provides the owner with the information needed to determine whether proper installation occurred prior to project close-out or final acceptance.  Identification of issues is critical to ensure that the culvert will be able to function properly, as designed...and paid for.

All registrants will receive information on how to join the virtual workshop prior to the workshop date.
