2017 GAWWA's Drinking Water Taste Test
The Georgia Section of the American Water Works Association (GAWWA) will hold taste competitions representing all of the 8 GAWP Districts to determine the best tasting tap water in Georgia.
The winner of each District contest will be given a certificate of achievement and will submit a sample to the Georgia State Finals held immediately after the District Competition.
All tests will be conducted in a scientific manner and a celebrity panel of judges will perform the final taste test. Once entry forms have been received, water samples must be delivered (by hand) 24 hours before the scheduled tasting. A water system representative is encouraged to attend but is not required for the District or Final competition. Do not miss this excellent opportunity to gain positive media coverage for your system!
