2018 Stormwater & Watershed Specialty Conference
The Georgia Association of Water Professionals and the Georgia Chapter of the American Water Resources Association are pleased to announce the Biennial Stormwater and Watershed Specialty Conference. This year’s conference will be held at the Gwinnett Environment and Heritage Center on May 9, 2018.
This conference typically attracts over 100 attendees from around the southeast who specialize in a variety of stormwater-related activities, including but not limited to: planning, policy, design, erosion and sedimentation control, watershed improvement, monitoring, inspection, maintenance, and infrastructure programs. Past presentations included regulatory updates, stream restoration project case studies, impaired waters delisting, and long term monitoring.
This year’s speakers will be announced soon and a schedule will be posted at that time. We are planning a full day of learning, networking, and discussion. If you work in the stormwater industry, this one-day conference is a must attend event.
