Training will be provided by Beth McLaughlin of McLaughlin Consulting (Garner, NC). Ms. McLaughlin is a consultant with more than 25 years of experience in the stormwater industry. Her experience includes extensive construction site erosion and sediment control regulation with the state of North Carolina, stormwater program development for numerous municipal clients as a consultant, and development of technical guidance manuals for erosion and sediment control as well as for stormwater quality, and site inspections for linear construction. She provides training on stormwater management to field staff, engineers and elected officials. She is a past board member of the International Erosion Control Association and a current board member with the North Carolina Chapter of the American Public Works Association Stormwater Division. Ms. McLaughlin received her bachelor’s degree in Biological and Agricultural Engineering Technology from North Carolina State University.
